Delmar Residencies
The residency and experimentation program aims to create a meeting space for artistic processes in initial stages. These residencies offer physical, economic, and support resources to creators primarily linked to the studio and the neighborhood.
These residencies are already in their third edition, with the following groups having participated: Mano a Mano Danza, La Calle Baila, and the Vitamina Project in the first edition; SinPar collective, Cristina Minguez, Pablo Villanueva, María Carbonell, Yolanda Peña, and Marta García in the second edition; and Georgia Pineda, Cristobal Crespo, Marta Mayayo, Leire Valls, Miguel Mata, Belén Martínez, Bea Palao, and Marta Tarín in the third edition.
Selection
- Each edition selects 2 or 3 groups from its residency between the months of October and June (residencies of 3 to 4 weeks).
Who is it aimed at?
- Artists/creators interested in creation and research through movement and the body, with a connection to the Cabañal neighborhood.
The evaluation criteria for the project will focus on the interest of the proposal and its connection to the Cabañal neighborhood.

- Support and make visible creators interested in creation and research.
- Be a motivating tool for creation and research for teachers and dance professionals.
- Honor the creation processes through research and creation residencies.
- Dignificar los procesos de creación mediante residencias de investigación y creación.
- Connect the project with exhibition spaces where the processes started in the residencies can be continued.
- Create and raise awareness among new audiences.
- Bring contemporary arts closer through different techniques and styles.
